The Sustainable Homes Program has been designed to provide many ways to assist participants to make change. One such way is the free Sustainability Starter Kits.

The Sustainability Starter Kits are designed to give program participants products that will enable them to begin making sustainable changes around their home straight after the workshops.

Participants are invited at the end of each event to make a set of six commitments to make their behaviour more sustainable, based on the information they have received at the event. In return for a completed commitment form, a limited number of free Sustainability Starter Kits are available.

Please click on the links below to see the contents of the 2009 kits, and to see the corresponding commitment forms. You might like to challenge yourself to these commitments even if you haven't attended the workshop!

Receive a Free Kit
Residents of Banyule, Darebin and Whittlesea Councils are invited to attend the Sustainable Homes workshops and have the opportunity to receive a Free Sustainability Starter Kit. Simply click on the How to Register page to register.
 
Please note you must be a resident of Banyule, Darebin or Whittlesea Councils and have attended the relevant workshop to receive a Free Sustainability Starter Kit. For example, to get an Energy Kit you must attend an Energy Workshop (in any of the three participating councils) and have filled in a Free Energy Kit Form.

Kit numbers are limited and will be distributed on a first in, first serve basis.
